Methodology and Teachers
With instruction that engages, our students learn faster and speak more confidently and fluidly in the long term. Hansa One uses world-class proven techniques to deliver excellent results. But our success starts with the teacher, and then the method.
Who is the Hansa One teacher?
The Hansa One instructor is an energetic, native-fluent teacher who has been selected based on our rigorous criteria that include familiarity with the language and its nuances, teaching ability as well as willingness and motivation for ongoing training, cultural sensitivity and customer-oriented personality.
We use a combination of expert consultants and instructors trained in our proprietary techniques. This gives us better leverage to provide more customized solutions for you.
The instructors are trained and cross-trained in the Hansa One Method, a direct approach, to experience what it feels like to be a student. Each instructor must take a lesson in a foreign language to properly learn how techniques are applied. Only then are they ready to begin training.
We're not trying to re-invent the wheel, just trying to give it more grip.
Our primary method is based on the highly effective conversational approach that emphasizes enhancing speaking and listening skills. Using this method, students will learn all aspects of the language in the context of real-life situations, gaining practical knowledge that they can put to use immediately outside of the classroom. Improving reading and writing skills are also part of the curriculum, and will receive more emphasis when they are part of the student’s carefully customized program.
To achieve the best results and the highest customer satisfaction, therefore motivation key to success, each curriculum is customized to the individual’s specific needs, language learning goals and learning style, and the course material is determined after completing the first class evaluation with the student. Instead of providing them with a limited number of proprietary books, we use any appropriate book, audio and/or visual aid, media and other practical resources that would fit the student’s needs and interest. Since we closely monitor each program and the teachers provide periodic progress reports, we can track the effectiveness of the course and the materials.
Hansa One infrastructure of supervision
Hansa One provides a network of instructional managers to ensure the quality of training, monitor the progress of the students, and provide counseling and support on a regular basis. The goal of the instructional supervision is to provide the students with a program and trainer that best fits their individual needs and learning style and ensure that the students have the most important factor for learning a new language – motivation.
