Being a good parent

I had a wonderful childhood and I always believed that my parents did a good job raising us, and hoped that I could be a great parent one day too. As an adult, I realized that I had actually grown up in a very “simple” environment, one that would be very hard to recreate in today’s always moving world. Yet I vowed to myself that I will keep the same values and hand it over to my children so they can stay true to themselves no matter where they are. Having spent the last almost two decades in a multicultural environment, I have learnt about the different life styles and philosophies, including the various approaches to raising a child.
